Day 1: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park.
A Heritage Safaris representative/driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel at 7.00am, brief you on the day’s program after which you will embark on the 6 hours journey to Murchison Falls National Park through Nakasongola to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. At the sanctuary you will be briefed by a ranger regarding the rhino project and then proceed to trek the sanctuary. In addition to the rhinos the sanctuary has more wildlife including monkeys, antelopes, hippos and crocodiles. After 1 to 2 hours of rhino tracking and wildlife viewing you continue to Masindi town for lunch at Masindi Hotel or Court View Hotel. After lunch drive out of Masindi town and continue with a visit to the top of the falls. Thereafter proceed to your lodge for a relaxing evening and night.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Ride on the Victoria Nile.
Have early morning breakfast at about 6.30am and set out for the Game Drive by 7.00am. This is the ideal time to catch the nocturnal and hunters before returning to their hideouts as well as the early risers. Murchison Falls National Park is crossed by River Nile dividing it into the South and North Sections. The North section has a higher population of animals hence more preferred for game drives. In case your lodge is on the Southern section you shall drive to the ferry crossing and get to the other side to start the game drive.
Traverse the major game trails especially around the Paraa area and view lots of wildlife including among others giraffes, elephants, jackals, buffaloes, lions, warthogs, Jackson’s Hartebeests, antelops, hyenas, waterbucks, and the much elusive leopards. The game drive lasts about 4 hours after which you return to the lodge for your lunch and relaxation. Later at about 2.30pm you set out for the boat ride on Victoria Nile.
River Nile is habit for several water animals including lots of hippos and crocodile. Several animals come to the Nile to drink water, cool off and refresh and others to eat fresh grass along the banks. The boat ride is ideal for close encounter wildlife viewing. Expect to sight lot of buffaloes, elephants, antelopes and a cocktail of birds. The ride takes you to the bottom of the Murchison Falls and you could hike to the top for breathtaking views of these beautiful falls. After this thrilling wildlife boat ride.

Day 3: Murchison Falls – Kibale Forest National Park.
Drive to Fort Portal via Hoima all day through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms along Albertine Rift escarpments. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. Proceed to your accommodation for a relaxing evening with amazing views of the African wilderness.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Walk.
Early morning trek for chimpanzees and 10 other primate including l’ hoest’s, Red Colobus, blues, red tailed and grey – cheeked mangabey. The guide will provide detailed explanations, not only on primates, but on all the forest fauna and flora and will ensure that your walk is both informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primates at close quarters. Kibale forest is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps, a thick jungle with a towering canopy. After tracking the chimps in the afternoon you will go for a nature walk to the Bigodi swamp- to see unique flora and fauna.

Day 5: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National Park.
You will take a walk early morning to the crater lakes and visit the Vanilla farm around Ndali Lodge. Later drive at your convenience to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon relaxation and sightseeing. Overnight and meals at your safari lodge.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Early morning game drive in Uganda’s best park, where all big game can been seen in abundance. Queen Elizabeth National Park‘s diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Game drives in this park, with the massive Rwenzoris as a backdrop provides excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephants, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, Topi and bush buck. After lunch proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Chanel.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Tracking Kyambura – Bwindi.
After your breakfast, you will head to Kyambura Gorge for Chimpanzee tracking, you will follow the chimpanzees as they look out for food and taking good care of their young ones as a family, thereafter dive to Bwindi Forest National Park via Ishasha for the a game drive for the tree climbing lions with Lunch at Ishasha Wildness Camp, Thereafter be transferred to Bwindi. Arrive at your lodge, check in and enjoy a relaxing evening with amazing views and sounds of the forest.

Day 8: Gorilla Tracking Safari in Bwindi Forests National Park.
After breakfast, head to the park head quarters for briefing about the mountain gorillas and the park. Enter into the jungle to search for the shy primates in their mist. One hour is allowed staying with the primates for the clients to enjoy those playing, take great photographs. Carry with you the rain gears, walkable shoes, hut, insect repellent, sun screens, packed lunch and bottled mineral water. Spend the evening visiting the local communities around the park-like the typical Bakiga homes, local breweries, traditional healers, Batwa cultural performances, local schools and art and craft shops.

Day 9: Bwindi – Kampala – Entebbe.
After breakfast, embark the safari vehicle and drive back to Kampala, lunch en-route. Stop at the equator again to shop for souvenirs to take back home from your safari in Uganda. Drive to the airport for your return flight back home.
