Tickets are picked up from various booking offices spread across the bus park.
To access private transport, the private sector federation together with the Rwanda tourism chamber, have an organised arrangement that ensures tour companies and driver guides are officially registered. A vetting process has been established to check their legality and physical inspection of offices and vehicles are conducted prior to authorising them to operate as such. Private cabs (special hire taxis) offer similar services; however, the experience differs based on the level of education of the individuals.
