Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park.
A Heritage Safaris tour guide will pick you from your hotel or place of residence in Kigali early in the morning and take you on a journey to Nyungwe Forest National Park. On your way, visit the Royal Palace Museum and Ethnographic Museum in Southern Province and arrive in time for lunch. After lunch you will proceed to Nyungwe Forest National Park for a Canopy walk and return in the early evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and move back to Kigali.
Today, after your initial morning breakfast, you will pass on your hotel to encounter the normal forest of Nyungwe notable for having 13 types of primates, and moved to the recreation area for instructions and chimpanzee trekking. You will be allowed up to one hour with the chimpanzees. Subsequent to doing the chimpanzee tracking, set out toward for lunch at the hotel and move back to Kigali and proceed to the airport for your evening flight out.
