10 Days Across Uganda Safari Tour

Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park

You will be picked by a Heritage Safaris tour guide from your hotel in Kampala and you will be briefed about the tour and then taken on a 6 hour journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Pass through the popular Luwero Triangle and, travel to Masindi making a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking. You will then have lunch and proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving at the lodge in the evening in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise.

Start the day with some African Coffee and then go for a morning game drive in the park to see some animals. Your ranger guide will assist you with spotting buffalos, giraffes, elephants. lions, waterbucks, oribi, bushbuck, hyenas and much more. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, go for a boat cruise upstream the quiet Victoria Nile to the base of the falls where you will have a surreal sighting of this powerful waterfall. On the way, you will spot numerous birds and animals including;  hippos, crocodiles, elephants, waterbucks, kobs among others.

There you will leave the boat and begin your hike to the Top of the Falls for more observation and photography. See where the world’s longest waterway detonates fiercely through a thin separated in the Rift Valley ledge to dive into a foaming pool 43m beneath. Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

The entire day drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant open country and past conventional estates and homesteads along Albertine Rift slopes. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the famous Mountains of the Moon.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking – Bigodi Walk

Continue your drive with a stopover at the Equator crossing with your lunch enroute before you drive to back to Entebbe to catch up your flight back home.
