Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After your early morning breakfast, a Heritage Safaris tour guide will take you on a half day drive to Fort Portal through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just under the Rwenzori Mountains. A stopover in Fort Portal for lunch at Gardens restaurant, thereafter drive at your leisure to Kibale with an afternoon crater walk of Nyinambuga.

Day 2: Kibale Chimpanzee Tracking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
An early morning breakfast ready for a chimpanzee walk in to the jungles of Kibale Forest National Park, reputable of having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. The half day search for chimpanzees and other primates including phoestes, Red-Colobus, Blues, Red-tailed and grey cheeked Mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small insects. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates, but also on all the forest’s fauna and flora, ensuring that your walk is informative, enjoyable and excellent for viewing bird life and primates in close quarters. After lunch, drive to Queen Elizabeth for a sunset two hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is worthwhile an opportunity to see Hippo, Buffalo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also enables visitor chance to see spectacular and amazing bird life.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha
An early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. Proceed to Bwindi impenetrable Forest via Ishasha southern part of Queen Elizabeth for an outstanding game safari to spot the tree climbing lions and other rare wildlife with lunch in Ishasha. Continue to your lodge for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Today is dedicated for Gorilla trekking experience in the jungles of Bwindi. Ready for briefing from ranger guides and rangers tacked in your trekking jungle boots, rain jacket with your walking sticks. Gorilla trekking is unpredictable. It is difficult to determine how long it will take you, this can take a heavy hike. The gorilla tracking excursion can take from 2 up to 8 hours. Be ready to walk along distance in steep and muddy conditions, the floor is always wet. Time permitting after your Gorilla trek in the afternoon you will head for a community foot safari to discover and explore the local community, understanding their ways of life, receive some cultural performances. Overnight stay and dinner at your lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Today is dedicated for a drive to Lake Bunyonyi via Kabale driving through the undulating highlands of southwestern Uganda on our way to the greener and beautiful Islands of lake Bunyonyi. Evening relaxation and sightseeing at the lodge.

Day 6: Boat Cruise on Lake Bunyonyi
Wake up at your convince ready for a mid morning boat trip to the islands for a guided nature walk, sightseeing and cultural visit to the Batwa Pygmies community to explore their life style and birding along Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 7: Return to Kampala – Entebbe – Out
Start off your day with breakfast ready for a long drive back to Kampala with a stopover at your choice of local hotel for your lunch enroute and at the Equator crossing line in Masaka for photography before returning to Kampala or Entebbe Airport arriving very late in the evening.
